
Dr. Nava Nourani received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Southwest Behavioral and Health Services in Arizona, providing community based mental health services for clients of all ages. Dr. Nourani’s previous experience includes providing psychological and neuropsychological assessments for children and adolescents, as well as individual and group therapy. Dr. Nourani has experience in evidence-based treatment modalities including: dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), experiential therapy, family systems work, and trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy. Her research experience includes working with MENA refugees and immigrants who were forced to migrate from their homelands.
Dr. Nourani is passionate about working with children and teens and helping provide an environment of unconditional positive regard in the therapeutic relationship.
In her free time, Dr. Nourani enjoys playing soccer, and finding new places in Arizona to explore.
