  • Dr. Kathryn Hollingsworth received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University. She also holds two Masters degrees in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Child & Family Psychology. Dr. Hollingsworth completed her APA accredited pre-doctoral internship at Centerstone Hospital and Community Mental Health Clinic in Florida where she conducted psychological assessments and therapy with individuals (age 3-25) struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, emotional and behavioral difficulties, drug and alcohol addiction, grief, developmental delays, social skills deficits and other challenges. In addition, she provided crisis management and group therapy services to children and adolescents. She has experience in evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, social skills training, mindfulness-based interventions, parent training, play therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. Her clinical and research experiences include working with a wide range of children, adolescents, young adults and families in various settings including the UCLA Nathanson Family Resilience Center. In her free time, Kathryn loves to bake cakes and spend time with her family.
